New: Paphiopedilum gratrixianum forma gralherianum
In a larger collection of Paphiopedilum in 2020 a Paph. gratrixianum emerged with a different coloration of the flag.
In 2021, another plant bloomed with this yellow flag.
In a first step, pictures of this plant were sent to Olaf Gruss as a Paphio expert. It quickly turns out that this is a new color form of Paph. gratrixianum.
The necessary pictures of the plant have now been taken, which are necessary for a new description of this Paphiopedilum.
This new description was published in issue 1 2022 of the Orchideenjournal (publisher: Vereinigung Deutscher Orchideenfreunde).
