Paphiopedilum braemii MOHR
Section: Barbata
Synonym: Paph. tonsum var. braemii
Paph. braemii is only considered by some taxonomists as a variety of Paph. tons viewed. Indeed it sees the Paph. tonsum is very similar but smaller in flower and occurs in a different area on the island of Sumatra.
Therefore, this species was first identified by MOHR in 1989 as Paph. braemii described.
The plants can be found at altitudes of 700 m and can therefore be cultivated in temperate to warm areas.
