Paphiopedilum mohrianum   BRAEM

Synonym: Paph. mastersianum var. mohrianum

 

There are different opinions about this species:

while some taxonomists classify the plant as a separate species, other botanists see these plants as a possible natural hybrid between Paph. mastersianum and Paph. bullenianum.

However, to this day there is no representative from the Paph. bullenianum group from the Molucce Islands, on which the Paph. mastersianum grows.
