Paphiopedilum topperi   BRAEHM & MOHR

Synonym: Paph. kolopakingii; Paph. kolopakingii var. topperi

 

In 1988 BRAEHM & MOHR described this species on the basis of a single plant. the Paph. topperi is said to have separated from Paph. kolopakingii by darker and slightly larger flowers. The foliage of this plant is also said to be larger.

The plants are said to have been found around 1000 meters on the Barito River in Central Kalimantan (Borneo, Indonesia).
