the Paphiopedilum javanicum complex
the Paph. javanicum complex include the species: Paph. javanicum + Paph. purpurascens + Paph. virens.
These species are each presented individually under the heading "Species". These plants are always viewed differently by the taxonomists. I think it is important, especially for conservation offspring, that these species are named correctly.

The dark hairiness of the ovary of Paph. virens is interesting. The much larger ovary from Paph. javanicum is also clearly recognizable.
