Paphiopedilum fairrieanum   STEIN

Section: Ceratopetalum

Paph. fairrieanum grows in the Himalayas at altitudes of 1600 - 2200 m and is only found in India, Bhutan and possibly China.

In the 1980s, different colored variants of this plant were commercially available, some of which were also officially described as varieties.

Paph. fairrieanum is not easy to cultivate and is therefore rarely offered. The temperature range should be found in the moderate / cool range.
