Paph. hookerae is found in Sarawak (Malaysia) and Kalimantan (Indonesia) on the island of Borneo at altitudes of 200 - 1000 m. A culture in the temperate - warm area is advisable.

This species is often associated with the Paph. volonteanum from Sabah.
