Paphiopedilum micranthum TANG & WANG
Section: Parvisepalum
Paph. micranthum grows in China in the provinces of Yunnan and Guangxi and is also found in North Vietnam. The plants can be found at altitudes of 450 - 1500 m.
Cultivation can take place in temperate areas, although it is known that temperatures can drop to 5 °C during the dormant period in winter.
Many color variants are known, some of which have also been described as separate varieties.
