Paph. moquettianum is found in the southwest of Java at an elevation from 300 Meters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Paphiopedilum moquetteanum var. bungkuluense GRUSS /  AVERYANOV

 

In 2024, plants were discovered near Bengkulu, South Kaur Regency, Nasal District, in southwest Sumatra. They are very similar to Paphiopedilum moquetteanum from the island of Java, but differ quite significantly in both their distinctly marbled foliage and their flowers.
